Collaboration Contracts beta release

For years, I've used Collaboration Contracts as a simple, effective way to align teams and clarify decision-making roles. Whether it was pairing engineers, working with product teams, or wrangling cross-functional chaos, this approach has always provided clarity without adding bureaucracy.

I’ve seen the impact firsthand—teams move faster, friction is reduced, and we avoid the endless second-guessing about who owns what. Over time, more and more people started asking about the method, adopting it for their own teams. And that’s when it hit me: It’s time to make this easier for everyone.

Today, I’m excited to announce the beta launch of Collaboration Contracts, a lightweight app designed to help teams—especially distributed ones—quickly define and manage their roles in decisions. Whether you're using it to bring clarity to one-off decisions or baking it into how your team operates every day, the app is built to support alignment, accountability, and smoother collaboration.

This is just the beginning. I’m inviting you—friends, colleagues, and anyone curious about better collaboration—to jump in, give it a try, and share your thoughts. Your feedback will shape where we take this tool.

The app’s in beta, so it’s not perfect yet, but I believe it’s in a great place to start making an impact.

Check out the app and let me know what you think: https://www.collaborationcontracts.com/
I’d love to hear your feedback—what works, what doesn’t, and what you’d like to see in the future.

Here’s to clearer decisions and better teamwork.
